The LMDA and the LMPA

The Labour Market Development Agreement (LMDA) and the Labour Market (LMPA) are two new employment-related agreements between the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario. Similiar agreements have been implemented in other provinces and territories.

These agreements will change how employment and training services and programs are designed and delivered in Ontario. They will affect job-seekers and the people and agencies providing employment and training services.

ACTEW is monitoring the impact of the LMDA and LMPA on services and programs for women.
