Webopedia is a great online encyclopedia of everything to do with the Internet and technology. Simply type in the word or the term and you’ll get a definition that written in plain straight-forward language. This is a great resource for anyone working on technical projects who might not be “in the know” of all the technical jargon:

HELP SUPPORT THE ACTEW-L BULLETIN !

ACTEW works hard to bring you timely and appropriate information about the
community-based training sector, our membership, and women's training,
education and employment issues. Our e-mail bulletins are separate from our
membership and are distributed at no cost to over 1,000 subscribers (and
growing daily). Still, they require resources to maintain and sustain. We
are asking any subscriber who is able to please send in a donation for
$25.00 to help us continue the work it takes to compile and disseminate the
ACTEW-L and News on the Net bulletins. We cannot offer a receipt for a
charitable donation as we don't have charitable status. Cheques can be
mailed to ACTEW, 401 Richmond Street West, Suite 355, Toronto, ON, M5V 3A8.
Thank you to all those who are able to help ACTEW continue to do this work.
